Job Description Looking for responsible and independent work? We are now seeking patrol security guards for Karlstad who want to strengthen our customers' sense of security. If you are not already trained as a security guard, there is an opportunity to be trained by Securitas before employment. We offer excellent development opportunities. As a patrol security guard, your primary task is to deliver security to our customers – mainly at industrial facilities, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, you will manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels autonomous, but with significant responsibility. These positions suit you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our Karlstad office, you will be an important person creating security for our customers. The work tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, nights or days. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts and for this position primarily nights, though days may also occur. We are security. We are Securitas. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good English language skills B-class driver's license Meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks previously have civilian or military security guard training As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periodically high work tempo. You are interested in technology and have an aptitude for understanding instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and thorough approach with an eye for details.
