About the Role Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment. As a patrolling security guard, your main task is to deliver security to our customers - primarily at industries, offices and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft and damage. Usually you manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. As a stationary security guard, your main task is to deliver security to one of our customers by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. Often you work at the entrance to a larger company and control those who enter and exit, but you can also perform patrols and camera surveillance. Work tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility. These positions suit you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our office in Eskilstuna, you become part of a close-knit team. Work tasks are highly varied and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, night or day. The length of work shifts varies, but are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we are an operation running all year round, it is common to work every other weekend. We are security. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good knowledge of English Class B driver's license Meritorious if you are a trained security guard have worked with similar tasks previously have civilian or military security guard training As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm and organized and can handle periodically high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own ability, quickly understands problems and solves them in a creative way. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great weight will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.
