About the Role Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training prior to employment. As a patrol security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers - mainly at industrial facilities, offices and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft and damage. Usually you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. This position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our Jönköping office, you will become part of a tight-knit team. The tasks are highly varied and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, nights or days. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since our operations run all year round, it is common to work every other weekend. We are security. We are Securitas. Requirements Specification Requirements Trained security guard (Vu1 & Vu2) Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good English language skills Category B driver's license Meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks previously As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm and organized and can handle periodically high work pace. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective regulations, a background check is conducted.
