Job Responsibilities As a Highway Barrier Installer, you will work in a team to install highway barriers on roads. The work is based out of Borås, but since your workplace will move, work may be conducted in other locations. This means overnight stays at other locations may occur. Working hours are scheduled during daytime. Background and Personal Qualities We prefer that you have some form of practical training, such as a construction program or equivalent. Similar work experience is a major plus. If you have completed training for road work, this is an asset, but not a requirement. However, a requirement is that you have a Class B driver's license. You are a hardworking and positive person who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions. You are a handy person who likes physical work and is not afraid to pitch in when needed. Furthermore, you and your teammates support each other so that you can solve the day's tasks together. As mentioned above, when work requires it, you will sleep away at other locations, which means your personal life must allow for this.
