Do you want to work closely with Lund residents and contribute to more community, independence, and security in everyday life? We are now looking for a Community Guide - Lund Municipality's preventive team within the Care and Social Services Administration. About the role and your responsibilities The Communities work with early, preventive, and outreach interventions to strengthen residents before care and social service needs arise or increase. The operation started in 2025 and is now in a new phase where working methods, contact channels, and collaborations are being further developed. The project is extended through December 2027. In this role, you meet residents who need guidance, motivation, or support to take the next step toward a more independent, active, and social setting. You also work to harness resources, engagement, and drive from residents who want to contribute or help. You work at both individual and group levels. At the individual level, the work involves conversations, exploring needs and resources, strengthening motivation, and together with the individual finding possible paths forward. This can also include providing information, directing people to activities or community support, supporting connections with associations or other actors, or accompanying someone for the first time to a new setting. At the group level, the work can include open activities, pop-up interventions, information initiatives, discussion groups, or collaborations with other operations and actors. An important part of the assignment is to build relationships and create functional collaborations with various actors in society. You also contribute to developing the Communities' meeting place as an open and accessible space for conversation, ideas, activities, and new contacts. The assignment also includes some documentation to follow up on results at the individual and operational levels, as well as contributing to continued development of working methods, routines, and approaches. The work is varied and requires that you are comfortable alternating between planning, collaboration, practical implementation, and meetings with people in different life situations. Much of the work takes place outside the office, in the Communities' premises or at other locations in the municipality. We are looking for you We are looking for you with higher education corresponding to at least 180 credits in an educational field relevant to the assignment, for example social work. It is a merit if you have experience in preventive, outreach, or motivational work, preferably in contact with older people or people with disabilities. We would also like to see that you have experience leading conversations, guiding individuals, planning activities, or contributing to project and development work. To thrive in this role, you need to be comfortable in contact with people and have a warm, professional, and respectful approach. You are attentive and curious, while being able to be clear about the scope of the assignment. You have the ability to build trust, develop relationships, and see people's resources and possibilities. You also need to be initiative-taking, flexible, and solution-focused. Since the Communities continue to develop their working methods, you need to be able to try new things, think creatively, and contribute to solutions when there are no ready-made answers. At the same time, you need to be able to work in a structured manner, follow agreed-upon routines, and contribute to follow-up and learning in the team. You express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing and are confident in using digital tools. Knowledge of other languages is a merit. A B driving license is a merit. We offer you With us, you get a meaningful and developmental assignment where you help shape the future of preventive social services in Lund Municipality. You become part of a multidisciplinary team that works closely with both residents and collaboration partners, provides early, preventive, and supportive guidance based on the resident's own needs, resources, and motivation, and has a strong focus on co-creation, learning, and practical social benefit. As an employee of Lund Municipality, you are offered a range of benefits with a focus on balance, security, and health. Lund Municipality is a large organization with many operations and opportunities for development. Other information The employment is a fixed-term, full-time position through December 2027. In this recruitment, we have chosen to remove the personal letter and replaced it with selection questions. Your answers will be an important part of our selection process. We conduct ongoing selection and interviews throughout the application period. As part of the selection process, we use tests from Assessio. Before employment, you need to present a criminal record certificate "Work with older people and people with disabilities" which you order from polisen.se About the workplace The Communities are part of the authority function within the Care and Social Services Administration. We are responsible, among other things, for the municipality's elderly care facilities, home care, support for people with disabilities, home nursing care, and meeting places for seniors. With us, every individual's needs are at the center, and our operations are characterized by participation, choice, flexibility, and quality with respect for the individual's integrity and self-determination.
