We are looking for you to join our road maintenance team at the Västerås Operations Area, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of approximately 98 miles of public roads. About the Position Road services conduct inspections of the road network at intervals to detect and remedy deficiencies such as obstacles on the road. We also work with pothole filling, clearing of overhanging vegetation in the roadway and in front of road signs, washing of road signs, straightening of tilted signs and sign posts, manual mowing at guard rails, removal of advertisements, winter road maintenance and more. We also work with minor sign work and other supplementary work of shorter duration. The role also includes work with ATK inspections, inventories and various checks.
