IN THE FACULTY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING at the Institute of Civil Engineering Sciences
Requirements for candidates:
Required education: Doctor's degree in Engineering Sciences in the field of Civil Engineering (specialization in building materials and construction technology).
Experience requirements for candidates in the last 5 years:
Expert rights from LZP in the field of Engineering Sciences and Technologies – Civil Engineering and Transportation Engineering;
Conducted research in the field of Sustainable Construction at least at the researcher position level;
Supervised PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's theses in the Civil Engineering direction;
Experience in preparing research project applications.
The vacancy is provided to ensure high-quality execution of scientific projects and research contracts.
Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must submit electronically (signed with a secure electronic signature) to Riga Technical University's Department of Human and Organizational Development ([email protected]):
an application addressed to the Rector for participation in the competition;
a curriculum vitae indicating scientific, pedagogical, organizational work experience and a list of published works in the last 6 (six) years (it is desirable to attach the list of published works as a separate appendix), as well as other documents that the candidate wishes to attach to the application to more fully describe their qualifications;
copies of documents confirming scientific/academic degrees or higher education and, if necessary, other documents specified in regulatory acts (for example, a document confirming the state language proficiency level, etc.), presenting their originals if the candidate is participating in the competition for work at RTU for the first time and has not previously submitted these document copies to the Personnel Department;
a public presentation report on their scientific activities, which must be presented to the structural unit (or council/board) in a timely manner before election.

The competition deadline is one month from the date of publication of the announcement on the Employment State Agency website and in the National Scientific Activities Information System.
