Leading Researcher - 1 position; field of science: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies, subfield: E-learning Technologies and Management.
Candidates for the position of Leading Researcher must hold a doctoral degree, have scientific publications and/or patents relevant to the research profile, be capable of independently conducting scientific research, developing scientific project proposals, supervising other researchers' work, and have a minimum of five years of combined scientific and academic work experience.
Candidates' scientific qualifications will be evaluated by the Institute's Scientific Council in accordance with the "Regulations on Elections to Academic Positions at Vidzeme University" (https://va.lv/dokumenti).
Candidates for the vacant position must submit to the Institute's Scientific Council by August 9, 2026 an application letter expressing interest in participating in the competition, specifying the position and field/subfield of science they are applying for, copies of documents confirming education and scientific degrees, a list of published scientific works, and a CV including information on English language proficiency.
