Riga City Municipality Department of Education, Culture and Sports (Reg. No. 90011524360) is a Riga City Municipality institution that implements municipal policy in the fields of education, culture, sports, and youth work. We invite you to apply for a vacancy: Head of a Riga City Municipality education institution - Director of Riga School No. 4 (Riga, Tirzas Street 2) Requirements for candidates: education in accordance with the requirements specified in the Education Law and Cabinet of Ministers Regulations regarding the necessary education and professional qualifications for pedagogues and professional development procedures; at least three years of pedagogical work experience in general education; not less than two years of experience in education management or management work in the education sector; experience in general education institution management is considered an advantage; knowledge of the state language at the highest level and knowledge of at least one official EU language at the level necessary for professional activities (foreign language requirement established in Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 496 of 19.08.2014, Section 5.3); knowledge of education quality management, institution financing, and budget planning; knowledge of regulatory acts governing education institutions, state and municipal education development priorities; management skills, ability to motivate employees and work in a team; good communication, cooperation, and presentation skills, ability to publicly express own and institutional opinion; good skills in working with information and communication technologies.
