We invite you to join the RTU team as a MANAGER'S ASSISTANT for full-time work for a fixed period at RTU's Culture and Sports Center. We are looking for a responsible person with equivalent experience in the sports field and essential administrative skills to coordinate and oversee the Sports Center's operations. Your responsibilities: • plan and coordinate RTU sports classes, creating class schedules and coordinating them with coaches and sports facility managers; • manage the sports system and electronic registration process; • monitor the implementation of sports classes and prepare necessary reports; • oversee the general sports email, coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence, providing responses and resolving day-to-day matters related to the sports field; • ensure information distribution on the RTU Sports Center website sports.rtu.lv; • administer RTU Sports Center social media accounts and ensure publicity; • provide support for RTU's outstanding athletes or dual career program implementation; • ensure the implementation of the Free Choice Course (Part C); • ensure student selection process and registration for participation in Latvian University Games and SELL Student Games and other international competitions, as well as participate in organizing student sports life; • advise and inform students and employees about sports classes, changes, and other current matters; • participate in the structural unit's budget planning, procurement, and economic matters organization. Your experience and skills: • Master's degree in sports field; • at least 3 years of work experience in sports education; • experience in organizing study or educational processes; • customer service experience; • excellent knowledge of Latvian and English language skills at conversational level, necessary for performing job duties, as the educational institution is international; • good computer and office equipment skills; • good communication and presentation skills; • ability to independently plan and organize your work, setting priorities and meeting deadlines; • ability to cooperate, listen, and build effective, collaboration-oriented communication; • ability to react quickly and make decisions in dynamic and stressful situations; • responsible and flexible approach to work.
