We are building a new wastewater treatment plant in Vappa, developing the future drinking water supply and continuing to invest in our pipeline networks to meet a growing Enköping. The new treatment plant is the municipality's largest investment ever and will be operational in 2028. In the Projects and Planning unit, approximately 15 employees work with investment planning, project management, construction management, facility management and customer service. DUTIES As a water and sewage planner, you will work with planning, developing and securing the municipality's water and sewage facilities for the future. You translate the business's needs, legal requirements and long-term goals into concrete plans and investments that will work for many years to come. Regardless of specialization, you will, among other things: • develop long-term renewal and investment plans • conduct pre-studies and prepare decision materials for investments • plan and prioritize future investment needs • be the client in investment projects driven by our project managers • ensure that facility management plans are kept current and quality-assured • monitor new legal requirements, authority requirements and technical developments • collaborate closely with the operations organization, project managers, consultants and management Water and sewage planner – Facilities You are responsible for the long-term development of our waterworks, treatment plants, pumping stations and pressure boosting stations. Your focus is on the facilities' function, capacity and future investment needs. You ensure that our facilities are equipped for tomorrow's requirements for operational reliability, environment and sustainability. Water and sewage planner – Pipeline networks You are responsible for the long-term development of the municipality's pipeline networks for drinking water, wastewater and stormwater. Your focus is on renewal planning, capacity and future expansion. You work to identify investment needs and ensure that the pipeline networks develop as the municipality grows. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have relevant higher education within, for example, water and sewage engineering, civil engineering, environmental technology or equivalent. You have experience working in water and sewage, technical infrastructure or other operations with major facilities and investment issues. It is meritorious if you have experience with: • facility management or investment planning • public operations • public procurement law and procurement processes • water and sewage legislation or environmental law • budget and investment work • using digital tools and AI support in analysis and documentation work Who are you?
