About the role Luleå is facing extensive urban development with major expansion plans in both industry and residential construction. This presents many exciting and complex challenges in the water and sewage field. As a water and sewage stormwater engineer, you will work on stormwater issues from early investigation stages to completed installations. In the early phases, you are responsible for investigating, analyzing, and proposing appropriate technical solutions while working together with the municipality, developers, and property owners. When projects move on to design and construction phases, you participate as technical responsible and provide support to the project manager. In the role, you will, among other things: Work with stormwater issues in early stages of planning and building processes Conduct stormwater investigations with corresponding dimensioning of stormwater installations Be project and technical responsible in stormwater projects Provide technical support to the organization on stormwater issues Participate in developing working methods, guidelines, and solutions for stormwater management Collaborate with property owners, municipalities, and other stakeholders Participate in communication and knowledge-building initiatives regarding stormwater You'll have a role where you both influence direction and implement ideas into practical solutions. You'll become part of an operation with a clear focus on development, innovation, and collaboration. Lumire participates in several research projects and has close cooperation with Luleå University of Technology. We are involved in, among other things, the research cluster Day & Network, the competence center Drizzle, and the innovation program Water Wise Societies. We are looking for someone with several years of experience or who is more senior in the stormwater field and wants to drive development forward. We see that you have: technical college or university education relevant to the position, or other education/experience deemed equivalent experience from the water and sewage field or related activities experience with stormwater issues good understanding of planning processes and/or project work It is beneficial if you have experience with: Stormwater investigations Cloudburst analysis Stormwater modeling Planning processes As a person, you are driven, structured, and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and collaborate with others. You actively contribute to discussions and see the bigger picture in complex issues. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
