The Water and Wastewater Administrator is part of the Technical Administration, one of six departments in the City of Lidingö. Here, approximately 45 dedicated employees work together to develop and manage the city's roads, parks, natural areas, waste, traffic, water and wastewater systems. RESPONSIBILITIES As Water and Wastewater Administrator, you are responsible for planning, ordering, following up on and developing operations and maintenance efforts within the water and wastewater area. You work closely with both internal operations and external contractors to ensure high quality, good economy and long-term function of our facilities. Your responsibilities • Manage, operate and maintain water and wastewater facilities. • Plan and prioritize maintenance measures based on function, risk and operational reliability. • Order, lead and follow up on contractors and consultants. • Ensure contract compliance and handle matters related to procurement and construction law. • Establish and monitor budgets, forecasts and costs. • Coordinate technical efforts and projects between internal and external stakeholders. • Manage documentation, reporting and handover of completed measures. • Participate in developing work methods, processes and technical solutions within water and wastewater operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have • Relevant technical education or equivalent experience. • Several years of experience in facility management, operations, maintenance or project management within water and wastewater, infrastructure, technical facilities or property. • Good experience in contractor management, client role and contract follow-up. • Knowledge of procurement law and construction law such as AB 04, ABT 06 and ABK 0. • Experience with budget work, financial follow-up and reporting. • Good understanding of water and wastewater systems, stormwater, utility networks or other technical supply systems. • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. • Class B driver's license. It is a merit if you have: • Experience from municipal operations. • Knowledge within land, groundwater, technical installations or building automation. • Experience with digital document and project management systems. • Experience with BIM-related tools or technical management systems.
