No. 50003342481) invites you to join the team Diagnostics and Rehabilitation Services Department Tvaika Street 2, Riga NUTRITION SPECIALIST (Fixed-term, part-time position) (profession code 2265 01) Your main responsibilities: Participate in patient healthcare, obtain medical history, and conduct clinical examinations. Analyze patient illnesses, eating habits, physical activity, biochemical analyses, and other indicators. Assess nutritional deficiencies in diet and formulate primary problems within your specialty. Document patient status and develop an individual nutrition therapy plan. Develop and analyze NMHC patient diets/menus, collect and maintain information. Receive and compile requests from NMHC departments and provide information to the food service provider, reviewing and signing reports. Supervise the food delivery process, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Republic of Latvia regarding sanitary and hygiene standards. Prepare and maintain food quality assessment forms and reports, and participate in preparing deficiency, damage, and other documentation. Promptly inform management of equipment and inventory damage and occupational safety violations. We are looking for a colleague with: Professional bachelor's degree in healthcare with a qualification as a nutrition specialist. Nutrition specialist certificate. Registration in the Register of Healthcare Professionals. Professional work experience of at least 2 years as a nutrition specialist. Ability to justify the choice of methods applied, as well as to collect, select, analyze, and use information necessary to assist patients. Ability to use analytical and critical thinking, as well as a scientific approach to problem-solving, and the ability to apply effective and creative problem-solving strategies in complex and unpredictable circumstances. Good communication skills and the ability to organize work rationally in conditions of increased intensity and stress. State language proficiency in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the Republic of Latvia. We offer: Hourly work compensation at a rate of 13.24 EUR (gross).
