We are seeking a UX Designer for a 50% position with a government agency. Assignment Description: We are looking for a UX designer who will work with user-centered design and development of digital services, with a particular focus on e-services and creating solutions that are useful, effective, and tailored to user needs. The role involves driving and coordinating UX work throughout the development process, from needs analysis and requirements gathering to design solution development, testing, and evaluation. The UX designer works closely with business stakeholders, users, developers, and other specialists, and contributes to translating business needs into clear and usable digital solutions. Key responsibilities include: - Plan, coordinate, and structure UX work within development projects - Conduct user-centered needs and business analysis - Identify user needs and translate them into concrete requirements and design solutions - Develop, test, and evaluate prototypes and other design proposals - Plan and lead workshops and design sprints - Collaborate with various stakeholders and specialists within development and business teams - Document and communicate results through requirements specifications, user stories, prototypes, and other UX-related artifacts - Present and anchor analyses, design proposals, and recommendations to various stakeholders - Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives that enhance user experience and quality of digital services The role requires a structured and independent working approach as well as the ability to balance user perspective, business needs, and technical constraints. Mandatory Requirements - At least 2 years of documented experience working as a UX Designer, acquired within the last 3 years - Documented experience planning and conducting user-centered needs analysis and requirements gathering - Experience developing, testing, and evaluating prototypes based on user needs - Experience planning and leading workshops with various stakeholders - Experience collaborating and communicating with diverse stakeholders such as business teams, clients, developers, and other specialists - At least 2 years of practical experience working in agile development teams - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish Desirable Qualifications - Experience with UX work in security-sensitive or security-classified operations - Experience with UX work in the public sector - Experience with prototyping and design tools - Knowledge of WCAG and experience applying digital accessibility requirements in e-services and other digital products Your Application Does this role sound interesting and like a good fit?
