Discover a versatile assignment! About the role The Swedish Tax Agency has ambitious goals to contribute to the digital transformation taking place in Sweden. The Tax Agency's IT department is one of Sweden's largest, with around 1,700 employees responsible for developing, operating, and managing the Tax Agency's IT landscape. In the IT department, we develop, among other things, digital infrastructure for other government agencies and for all of Sweden. We also collaborate with other agencies. AI solutions for faster and more efficient information handling, solutions for managing VAT and employer contributions, and data warehouses for sharper analysis and better governance. The assignment involves working as a UX designer as part of a development delivery where your task is to design the user experience for the systems and services we develop in close collaboration with operations, product owners, developers, testers, and other designers. The role involves translating customer insights and technical conditions into user-friendly and accessible solutions by developing interactions, concepts, and flows. You are expected to contribute both strategically and operatively to the development of UX work within the delivery and create solutions that exceed users' needs and expectations. You work both independently and with others, and we help each other in an unpretentious way. We work using an agile approach with SAFe as our framework. In this job, you should: - be results-oriented and ensure both the group's and your own performance - act consciously and professionally based on good self-awareness - have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible, and be able to adapt to change - have good collaboration skills, be helpful, and have a good demeanor - have good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish - be able to analyze information flows, see connections, patterns, and make delimitations You should also have: - relevant university education of at least 180 hp (120 p) in UX/interaction design, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent - several years of current and relevant work experience in systems development - good knowledge of UX methods and experience planning and facilitating workshops - experience in UI design and working with established design systems - experience with design tools such as Figma or equivalent - experience working in complex business environments It is also an advantage if you have current and relevant work experience in accessibility work according to WCAG, experience working in larger organizations, and current and relevant experience with agile working methods. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security vetting with a criminal record check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
