Your new position As a development strategy officer with us, you work on developing operations and processes in collaboration with the Support Services management group, consisting of a department head and seven area managers. Your direct supervisor is the department head, and in close consultation with them, you are responsible for identifying cross-organizational opportunities, problems, and special development needs, as well as leading certain change initiatives. You monitor the external environment, identify strategic development paths, and contribute to improvement work at both overarching and operational levels. You support the management group in analyzing, planning, implementing, and following up on development initiatives, in line with legislation, goals, and mandate. The role also includes leading and conducting investigations, preparing matters for decision, as well as certain coordination and administration. You work collaboratively in learning processes and help ensure that change initiatives are anchored and engage the entire organization. All with the goal of developing operations in a direction that creates value for citizens. Your competence We are looking for you with an academic degree of at least 180 ECTS credits relevant to the role, such as a degree in social work, behavioral science, or public administration education, or another degree deemed equivalent by the employer. You have strong knowledge of development and change management, as well as familiarity with the support services field and relevant legislation. Your ability to initiate, implement, drive, and follow up on new processes and working methods is well documented. We would like to see that you have experience with similar tasks within a politically governed organization. You should also fulfill one or more of the position's advantageous criteria. Advantageous criteria: - Experience in leadership and/or project management - Experience working with executive and management support - Advanced level education - Experience with organizational development and quality monitoring at a strategic level in public operations - Knowledge of governance and management processes as well as systematic quality work As a person, you are self-directed, initiative-taking, and thrive in a changing environment. You have good analytical ability, are structured, and can gather, analyze, and communicate complex information—both verbally and in writing—in a clear and pedagogical manner and in good Swedish. You have the ability to see the bigger picture, good collaboration skills, and are a role model in your conduct both internally and externally.
