About the job As one of our employees moves on to a new assignment, we are now seeking a development leader in Safety and Crime Prevention for the Social Administration Northeast. As a development leader in Safety, you work to increase the sense of security for residents in the Northeast district. Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for coordinating local area development where multiple actors collaborate in crime prevention and safety-building work. Your role is to drive and follow up on processes. Within the framework of the Safe in Gothenburg collaboration model, we develop local situation assessments, conduct cause analyses, and initiate measures together with other actors working in the area. The work is flexible and requires you to be able to keep many processes running simultaneously. The work involves a strong focus on collaboration with other societal actors. The position is both strategic and operational. Qualifications As an applicant, you should have relevant academic education such as criminology, social work, sociology, or equivalent as assessed by the employer as equivalent. Knowledge and experience in crime prevention work is required. It is an advantage if you have experience with similar work in public administration and if you are multilingual. It is advantageous if you have good local knowledge of the Northeast district. We are looking for someone who is action-oriented, results-focused, and enjoys collaborating with others. You have strong communication skills, you can create engagement, and you are experienced in meeting with groups in the role of coordinator and meeting leader.
