Welcome to join us! Your Responsibilities For the Special and Support Services area within the Education Administration, we are now seeking a development leader with a focus on mathematics. The role involves providing close support to primary schools and adapted primary schools regarding the mathematics subject. The assignment includes working closely with the department head, area managers, and principals to support schools in developing mathematics instruction and its follow-up, with the aim of strengthening students' knowledge results in mathematics. You are an important part of the primary school department's support team, where collaboration with other support functions is essential for us to move from obstacles to opportunities. Your Workplace Special and Support Services is the area within the primary school department that organizes the education administration's support functions. We are there for others with guidance and consultation, concrete practical advice, and together we plan how the activity can best move from obstacles to opportunities, whether it is long-term work or in a shorter perspective. The support functions within special and support services form a central part of both the principal's and the primary school department's systematic quality work. About You To succeed and thrive in the role of development leader, you must have: A completed teacher's degree. Previous work experience leading other teachers and supporting principals. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: Special education teacher training with a focus on mathematics. Experience as a lead teacher with a focus on mathematics, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent, for example as a lecturer with relevant focus. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Regarding your personal qualities, we are looking for someone with a confident and clear leadership style in your role without being a manager. You lead, motivate, and provide others with the authority needed to effectively reach common goals. You coordinate groups in a natural way, become a point of reference for others, and create engagement and participation in the operation. The role also requires very good collaboration skills. You work well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner. You are good at listening, communicating, and resolving any conflicts constructively. Furthermore, you are structured in your work approach. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently and establish and maintain schedules. You have a good overview, which means you see the whole picture and take the broader perspective into account. You understand your own role, but always consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decisions. Finally, you are goal and results-oriented. You actively work toward set goals and focus on results, which guides your priorities, planning, and actions. You also find it easy to adapt and change direction when goals change.
