Your responsibilities
The role of development leader with a focus on architecture is an enabling and coordinating role in creating direction, structure, and long-term choices together with operations and IT services. You work with digital choices and shared principles and lead so that these are taken with a clear holistic perspective.
You work to create coherence and direction in the municipality's digital development by highlighting consequences, supporting shared choices, and contributing to coordinated development that reduces duplicate work, strengthens coordination, and creates long-term value. Your tasks also include project management as well as analysis and feasibility study work.
You contribute to and are responsible to some extent for coherent system management, provide architectural support in procurements, and collaborate closely with operations, IT, and other functions to create long-term and effective solutions with the municipality's and residents' best interests in focus.
In this role, you contribute to a more coherent digital environment, sustainable choices, and better utilization of shared platforms.
Your qualifications
We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in a relevant field, or alternatively experience that the employer considers equivalent. You speak and write very good Swedish and have proficiency in English.

Experience with portfolio management, system management, or similar structures/models
Experience from municipal operations or politically governed organization

You are a person who drives development forward and makes things happen. You have the ability to see the whole while moving the work forward step by step. The role involves many contact points and requires good collaboration skills and the ability to adapt your working style based on the situation. You are analytical and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in the organization's needs. You are good at collaborating, building trust, and creating engagement, and you contribute to achieving results together that benefit both the organization and residents.
What we offer you

You have 25 vacation days until age 39, 31 days from age 40, and 32 days from age 50. Other information
During the vacation period, we will respond with lower frequency, which may result in slightly longer response times for any questions during the summer. We return week 33 and will answer questions after that.
After the application deadline has passed, we review the applications and get back to you with a decision. If you move forward, you will take tests, followed by a phone check-in, competency-based interview scheduled for week 35, and finally a possible candidate meeting. We always take references on the final candidate.
