Your Work Tasks As a Development Leader, you have a dynamic and strategic assignment where you lead the administration's processes and development initiatives forward. In the role, you combine operational development with strategic project management in the field of labor market and financial assistance. You are a team member in the development function that serves the entire administration. Currently, an administration-wide process is underway to ensure work in the new activity requirement reform. You work primarily on behalf of the strategic management group (steering committee) together with the administration director, department heads, and function heads. You also drive administration-wide development work together with unit heads and employees. At the Integration and Labor Market Administration (IAF), continuous improvement work is ongoing where you act as a central process and change leader. In this work, you thus provide important support to managers at all levels. A central part of your daily work involves being in the practical operations to drive operational development based on current needs. You also have clear responsibility for ensuring quality and processes in the development of strategies, materials, and documents for the labor market committee. Your main work tasks include: Plan, drive, and complete major development work as well as coordinate sub-processes. Engage managers and employees in change work. Prepare statistics, analyze underlying structures and causal relationships, and conduct investigative work as a basis for decisions and operational development. Prepare materials and present matters on behalf of the labor market committee (for example regarding referrals, surveys, guideline changes, and labor market programs). Conduct strategic environmental monitoring and drive continuous methods development. Work strategically to develop cooperation internally in the municipality and with external actors. Represent IAF and actively participate in relevant internal and external networks. Your Workplace The Integration and Labor Market Administration has just over 300 employees. Our mission is to support individuals on the path to self-sufficiency through full-time activation and planned measures. The administration is also responsible for public authority exercise, which includes investigating and deciding on the right to financial assistance. The position is placed within the administration's development function, which is part of the staff. The development function is responsible for ensuring and implementing the committee process for the labor market committee, driving strategic development work and environmental monitoring, as well as offering service and support for change and development work. The function also aims to broaden the perspective for innovation within the administration's various departments and units. In your assignment, the administration's development manager is your immediate supervisor. The role involves close cooperation with all managers, employees, and development leaders/operations managers in the administration. You will be based in central Linköping, but as the role is flexible, work tasks may be performed at various locations depending on the assignment's needs. About You We are looking for someone with post-secondary education (for example from university, college, or vocational college) that the employer considers relevant for the assignment. To succeed in the role, you must have experience leading individuals and groups, as well as planning, driving, and completing larger processes and projects that include sub-components. It is also a requirement that you have experience with statistics work, including analysis and conclusions. Furthermore, you must have knowledge of process and project management, as well as an ability to analyze and compile information. You also need good skills in using digital tools, and good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. We consider it meritorious if you have education in political science, statistics, process management, or similar.
