Development Manager

As a Development Manager at Göteborg Energi Nät, you'll have a key role in developing work methods, processes, and digital solutions for efficient and sustainable operations. Your Assignment As a Development Manager, you are responsible for driving operational change and improvement initiatives based on needs within Göteborg Energi Nät AB's operations or processes. You ensure that the organization has access to correct information, efficient work methods, and appropriate system support. In this role, you work closely with different functions and positions throughout the organization. Through your work, you actively contribute to strengthening the organization's ability to achieve its goals in digitalization and efficiency improvements. Duties and Responsibilities Support the development of shared and cross-functional work methods and department/unit-spanning procedures to streamline processes and find efficient standardized work methods within the company. Act as a change leader when implementing new work methods. Participate in the process team's work on quality and process development, including management of improvement initiatives and preparation of related decision-making materials. Support the prioritization of the organization's IT needs related to digitalization and system support. Participate in work on governing documents or other supporting documents. Perform other relevant tasks within the organization. Your Team You will be part of the Support unit at Göteborg Energi Nät AB, which consists of 13 employees and is led by Helena Bredin. The unit currently has three development managers who will be your closest colleagues. The unit's mission is to support the entire organization with expertise in administration, business and investment support, occupational health and environmental coordination, and to hold together change and improvement work from a process and quality perspective. The unit's task/role is to relieve, enable, and quality-assure the organization so that the electricity grid company can focus on its core mission – enabling safe, efficient, and long-term sustainable electricity grid operations. Your Competence We are looking for someone who: has relevant higher education of at least 180 credits or alternative education combined with experience that we consider equivalent possesses knowledge and experience in driving development and improvement work has knowledge and experience working with quality and process work, including KPI monitoring It is advantageous if you have experience in change management, have knowledge of system support for facilities and underground network infrastructure, and/or experience in developing digitalized reports (e.g., BI reports, UPA, or Fabric). To succeed in this role, we see that you have natural leadership and feel confident driving change together with others. You are communicative and have the ability to create engagement and trust in dialogue with different parts of the organization. As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and responsible, with strong analytical and solution-oriented abilities. You work carefully and easily see both the big picture and details. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Göteborg Energi is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and many of our services are security-classified.
