The Quality and Development Unit consists of six development managers, one medical responsible for rehabilitation (MAR) and one medical responsible nurse (MAS). In addition to these, also two project managers. The unit is responsible for administration-wide quality and development work. We have several representatives in national networks and we serve as a link between national and local levels. Our tasks are varied and concern the entire social services administration.
Your tasks
As a development manager, you will become part of a team responsible for driving and developing the administration's quality work. You have special responsibility for systematic quality monitoring within all activities, both in your own region and with private providers. The work includes quality visits to activities, conducting surveys, focus groups, quality registers and various forms of user surveys. On behalf of the board and administration management, you also conduct investigations and reviews, respond to referrals and lead development projects. An important part of the role is to clearly communicate results to both political level and operations.
You follow national knowledge development and translate it into concrete proposals and knowledge bases for Region Gotland. In close dialogue and cooperation with the activities, you lead, coordinate and support the implementation of new methods and ways of working.
As a development manager, you participate in local forums as well as in regional and, if necessary, national networks.
Who are you?
You have a degree in social work or are licensed healthcare personnel, alternatively have another equivalent or relevant higher education. You have experience from social services or municipal healthcare and work with quality. A driver's license is a requirement and you master Swedish in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.
It is meritorious if you have education in quality and development work and if you have experience in authority management or investigative work.
As a person, you are strategic, driven and enterprising. You have an easy time creating trusting relationships and collaborating with others to achieve set goals. Your analytical ability allows you to assess different situations and quickly adapt to new circumstances.
You work independently and in a structured manner, have good communication and pedagogical skills and a positive outlook. Furthermore, you express yourself well in both speech and writing.
Beyond formal requirements, we place great emphasis on the personal qualities considered significant for the role.
