Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking an experienced and driven developer with a focus on education and project management to help improve quality and efficiency in healthcare, with a focus on creating value for patients.
The position involves collaborating with our clinical operations, educational institutions, study directors, and other external stakeholders to develop the educational mission and ensure future competency supply in healthcare. The assignment includes coordinating agreements with universities and colleges, coordinating work within strategic groups such as the education council, as well as coordinating remittances and government grants within the area of responsibility.
In the role, you are also responsible for leading and driving larger and complex projects and supporting project owners, steering committees, and project members throughout the project process. You contribute expertise in project methodology, documentation, benefit analyses, communication planning, and benefit realization. You conduct investigations, analyze and compile results that form the basis for decisions and operational development.
You also participate in national, healthcare regional, and local collaboration forums and contribute to professional education assignments to support development, implementation, and increased patient benefit.
About the Workplace
The Knowledge Support Unit is part of the planning and development staff, which provides strategic support to operations, management, and policy to contribute to a long-term sustainable, good, and equitable healthcare system. The staff works with development issues including knowledge governance, education, digitalization, and production and staffing planning, and manages assignments in close collaboration with operations and external stakeholders.
The Knowledge Support Unit is responsible for creating conditions for implementation, monitoring, and development of national knowledge support in Region Västmanland. The unit also supports operations in quality-driven development through improvement knowledge as well as process and project management, in close collaboration with regional and national stakeholders.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree with a focus on healthcare and experience leading larger or complex projects and improvement initiatives. You work in a structured and analytical manner and have a strong focus on development. We also want you to have a strong interest in education issues and are comfortable driving change in close collaboration with operations.
To succeed in the role, you need to be a skilled collaboration partner who builds good relationships and can engage different stakeholders toward common goals. It is a merit if you have education in operations development or project management, as well as experience with implementation work or improvement methodology.
