We are now seeking a developer specializing in real estate, land, and development. In this role, you will help shape the future of Härnösand by driving and coordinating matters at the intersection of land, real estate, and urban development! About the Position You will be working during an exciting time when the municipality is facing development and transformation, with a focus on sustainable growth, attractive business establishments, and long-term efficient use of land and real estate. You will initiate and drive projects within your area of responsibility and ensure that things happen. You will be part of a department with a large network and you will have several competent colleagues around you. Responsibilities In this role, you will work both strategically and operatively with urban development issues related to real estate, land, and investments. You have a holistic perspective and drive processes from early stages through implementation and follow-up. Your tasks may include: coordinate and drive development matters within land, real estate, and urban development lead or participate in early stages, feasibility studies, and site selection assessments work with strategic land procurement and development of the municipality's land holdings prepare decision-making documents and present matters for political decisions collaborate with municipal services, companies, authorities, businesses, and developers coordinate matters related to the municipality's real estate provision monitor external developments and identify opportunities related to business establishments and investments You will also contribute to developing the municipality's working methods and processes within urban development and to strengthening Härnösand's attractiveness as a place to live and work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: relevant higher education in, for example, surveying, property management, urban development, or equivalent education or work experience that the employer considers equivalent good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written good digital competence Class B driver's license Meritorious if you have: experience with land and development matters or property management experience with investment or business establishment coordination worked in complex processes with many stakeholders worked in public service good ability to express yourself in English, both spoken and written project management skills Personal Qualities To thrive in this role, you are communicative, outgoing, and have a talent for creating good collaborations and networks. You work in a structured and results-oriented manner, both independently and with others.
