Do you have a technical background in electrical engineering and enjoy understanding how products actually work? Here you'll combine electrical engineering, design, and problem-solving in a role where you'll learn from highly experienced colleagues – and over time contribute new digital approaches. About the position: Friday is recruiting on behalf of a customer for an order design engineer at an established, international industrial company specializing in electrical power in Ludvika. You'll become part of an experienced design group that works closely with production, sales, order management, and suppliers. You'll adapt technical products and standard solutions to meet each customer's specific needs. Based on customer requirements, you'll develop the right design documentation, document the solution, and ensure it can be manufactured and delivered with the correct quality. With production located nearby, you can follow your solutions from drawings to physical product. This role is suitable both for those at the beginning of their career and those who have already worked with areas such as electrical design, order design, automation, or technical documentation. You'll receive thorough training and work alongside colleagues with extensive product experience. Your responsibilities: In this role you will, among other things: Adapt electrical products and solutions based on customer orders and technical specifications Develop and update drawings, technical documentation, and specifications Interpret customer requirements and ensure the solution meets the correct function and quality Collaborate with production, procurement, order management, sales, and external suppliers Work in technical systems and use Excel as part of your daily work Over time contribute ideas regarding digitalization, automation, and smarter work methods We're looking for you who: have a genuine technical interest and enjoy understanding relationships, finding solutions, and diving deep into how a product works. You don't need to know everything from the start.
