About the position: Friday is recruiting on behalf of a customer for an order design engineer at an established, international industrial company specializing in electrical power in Ludvika. You'll become part of an experienced design group that works closely with production, sales, order management, and suppliers. You'll adapt technical products and standard solutions to meet each customer's specific needs. Based on customer requirements, you'll develop the right design documentation, document the solution, and ensure it can be manufactured and delivered with the correct quality. With production located nearby, you can follow your solutions from drawings to physical product. This role is suitable both for those at the beginning of their career and those who have already worked with areas such as electrical design, order design, automation, or technical documentation. You'll receive thorough training and work alongside colleagues with extensive product experience. Your responsibilities: In this role you will, among other things: Adapt electrical products and solutions based on customer orders and technical specifications Develop and update drawings, technical documentation, and specifications Interpret customer requirements and ensure the solution meets the correct function and quality Collaborate with production, procurement, order management, sales, and external suppliers Work in technical systems and use Excel as part of your daily work Over time contribute ideas regarding digitalization, automation, and smarter work methods We're looking for you who: have a genuine technical interest and enjoy understanding relationships, finding solutions, and diving deep into how a product works. You don't need to know everything from the start. What matters is that you're curious, willing to learn, and thrive in a role where precision and problem-solving go hand in hand. have technical education within, for example, electrical engineering, electrical power, automation, or a related field alternatively have relevant practical electrical experience combined with clear interest in design and digital tools have a basic understanding of electricity or electrical products speak and write Swedish fluently and have good knowledge of English can work on-site in Ludvika five days per week It's advantageous if you: have worked with electrical design, CAD, technical documentation, or customized products have experience from production, manufacturing industry, technical sales, or order management have knowledge of electrical power, transformers, or other electrical components have used Creo, elMaster, or similar design tools can program, for example in Python, or are curious about AI, data, and automation are experienced with Excel and enjoy finding smarter ways to manage information These are advantages, not a complete list you need to fulfill.
