Your assignment As a child welfare investigator, you play an important role in investigating and assessing children's and young people's need for support and protection. You work with legal certainty, professionalism, and a clear child rights perspective. Your duties include: Investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to applicable legislation, primarily SoL and LVU. Conducting qualified investigations with the child's needs at the center. Meeting children, young people, and their families in a respectful, safe, and professional manner. Working in a supportive and motivating way to create participation and enable change. Collaborating with the child's network and internal and external partners. Documenting and managing cases according to legislation, guidelines, and current processes. With us, you work exclusively with the investigation process while our case managers are responsible for following up on implemented interventions. Your experience We're looking for someone with the right education and experience to conduct professional and quality-assured investigation work. We want you to: Have a degree in social work or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Have experience in social work, preferably within government administration and investigation work with children and young people. Have good ability to document and express yourself well in speech and writing. Have a B-class driver's license for manual transmission vehicles. It's a merit if you: Have experience with BBIC or similar investigation methodology. Have good knowledge of legislation, regulations, and guidelines within the social services field. Have experience with government administration in child and youth services. Is this you?
