In this position, you will participate in the Schools Inspectorate's inspection training, and ongoing professional development is part of our daily work. Work tasks As an analyst, you will conduct inspections in all school forms and after-school centers based on school legislation requirements. A key task is to visit the operations being inspected, which involves regular travel with overnight stays. Your responsibilities include planning, document reviews, and qualified analyses as well as interviews and observations during visits. You will also write and present decisions regarding inspections and/or quality assessments and maintain ongoing dialogue with principals and school administrators. As an analyst with legal expertise, you will contribute a legal perspective to the investigation work and understanding of how regulations and public governance affect the agency's mission. The position also includes participating in knowledge sharing and improving work processes for efficient, consistent, and equitable case handling. Qualifications You must have: A law degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent Current work experience with qualified investigation work, including case handling Current work experience gathering, analyzing, and processing complex information Very strong ability to express yourself clearly and correctly in spoken and written Swedish Valid driver's license for cars It is an advantage to have: Notary certification or equivalent Knowledge of administrative law Experience with investigation work in public administration Experience with school law matters Experience with inspection work To thrive at the Schools Inspectorate, you should enjoy working in an organization with varied tasks and a work environment where colleagues have different competencies and experiences.
