Do you want to contribute to safer and more secure healthcare? At the Inspectorate for Healthcare and Social Care (IVO), you'll work with oversight that makes a real difference. We are now seeking inspectors with a healthcare background. About the job As an inspector, you'll work with licensing reviews of regulated activities in healthcare throughout the country. Inspections may occur in connection with licensing reviews. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues in your department and the legal department, and may also include government assignments and work with other authorities nationally. International work within the EU may occur. In this role, you'll meet both healthcare providers and the public, and work consistently from a patient perspective to contribute to safe healthcare. Your main responsibilities are to: plan and conduct inspections for new applications and major significant changes within the operation, review, analyze, and assess documentation, write decisions, cooperate internally and externally, answer referrals. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: a relevant academic degree for the assignment, or other education that the employer deems equivalent, multiple years of current work experience from work at a clinical laboratory or other regulated activity, experience with analysis, investigation, and quality work, very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: experience with oversight work. You are self-directed and take clear responsibility for your assignments, with the ability to drive work forward with good judgment. Your work style is structured and thorough, which creates quality and clarity in deliverables. You communicate well both verbally and in writing and adapt your message to the recipient and situation. Work location: Stockholm or Gothenburg Working hours: Flexible time Remote work: Possibility for remote work up to 50 percent, depending on operational needs and the nature of work tasks.
