Work Tasks As an investigator in property law matters, you will play a central role in our organization where your expertise and thoroughness are crucial for ensuring legally sound and sustainable solutions. The work includes, among other things: Conduct thorough investigations to ensure property law conditions such as rights, leases, and prerequisites for property formation. Draft and enter into property law agreements. Represent the City of Gothenburg in its capacity as property owner in surveying procedures. Analyze laws and regulations and their application to specific matters. Analyze property valuations. Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to gather and interpret relevant information. Coordinate and manage matters, such as building permit referrals and easement rights, both within and outside the administration. Participate in meetings to present results and provide advice on property law matters and issues. Your analytical thinking and ability to work systematically will be crucial in this work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is educated as a surveyor, lawyer, or has other university education that the employer deems equivalent. To succeed in the role, you are confident and stable in your conduct and can handle challenging situations with self-assurance. You work independently, take responsibility for your matters, and have a drive to move the work forward. You are collaboration-oriented and build good relationships with both colleagues and external actors. Further, you work in a structured and thorough manner with a focus on quality, legal certainty, and correct documentation. You have good analytical skills, can see connections, make well-founded assessments, and handle complex property law issues. You are also engaged, solution-oriented, and actively contribute to the development of the business. Merits: Relevant thesis work. Experience in handling property law matters, preferably with a focus on land ownership. Experience in a coordinating or coordinative role.
