We are now seeking two social workers to join one of our teams. The work involves investigating children and youth ages 0-20 and their families, as well as following up on approved interventions, such as open care, contact person/family support, or residential care placements. The work is conducted in close collaboration with the unit's other investigation teams, our intake group, and our safety team that works with children near placements.
As an investigating social worker in child and youth services, you will have an important and complex assignment, but you don't have to carry it alone. We work closely together, share experiences, and help each other when situations require it. Our ambition is for you to feel both secure in your professional role and joy in coming to work.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Previous experience working with children and youth and exercising government authority is a merit. Experience with the Partnering for Safety / Signs of Safety work model is a great plus. A B-class driver's license is also a merit.

You are solution-oriented and work focused on finding solutions to problems and situations that arise. As a person, you are responsive and have an aptitude for understanding others' situations. You understand and show consideration for different perspectives and are attentive to things that aren't always stated directly.
