Disclosure Lawyers for a Government Agency

About the Position We are now seeking two Disclosure Lawyers for a government agency in Jönköping. In your role as a disclosure lawyer, your primary responsibilities will be to provide qualified support in confidentiality review of documents related to requests for disclosure of public records. You will also handle appeals of disclosure decisions, manage cases concerning disclosure within private operations, and work with the management of archived records. The role also involves supporting managers and staff with legal matters, conducting minor legal investigations within the field, and contributing legal expertise to the agency's ongoing work. Additional tasks may occur depending on the agency's needs. Assignment Period and Scope This is a full-time consulting position starting in September and is expected to run for five (5) months, with the possibility of extension for up to an additional five (5) months. Work takes place primarily at the agency's offices; remote work can be arranged by agreement with your responsible supervisor. Requirements for the Position: • Jur kand., law degree, or equivalent education • At least one (1) year of professional experience as a lawyer • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Ability to quickly analyze and make legally secure confidentiality reviews • Good knowledge of: The Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Freedom of the Press Ordinance (TF), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to disclosure and the Administrative Procedure Act • Ability to provide at least one (1) reference assignment from similar work For us to be able to proceed with you in the process, you must clearly demonstrate in your CV that all the above requirements are met.
