Your Role as Equipment Rental Manager
As an equipment rental manager, you will have an independent and varied role where you are responsible for annual rental of winter equipment such as plows, sand/salt spreaders, and heavy vehicles/equipment for Svevia. Additionally, it is your responsibility to identify maintenance and repair needs for machines and equipment, and to arrange inspections.
You will have budget and customer responsibility for your district and are responsible for achieving results and goals according to established plans. The district is Uddevalla and surrounding areas, and the position involves travel within and to some extent outside the district.
The role involves extensive customer contact—both through personal meetings and via phone and computer.
You will be part of a great team of eight people located throughout Sweden. The current work location for this position is at our customer center in Uddevalla.
This is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period.
Who Are You?
You have a strong interest in machinery and preferably experience with heavy equipment. This interest and experience comes from either education or previous work experience. You take initiative, work independently, in an organized manner, and with attention to detail. As a person, you are trustworthy, confident in making decisions, have strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy building good relationships with customers and colleagues. The rental manager role involves approximately 50% administrative work, which requires you to have good computer skills. You have a strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. Since travel is part of the role, a B-category driver's license is required. A C-category license and a wheel loader operator's certificate are advantages.
