Would you like to work outdoors and help create safe, functional and pleasant outdoor environments for children, elderly people and activities within Huddinge? We are now looking for an outdoor environment technician for our outdoor environment team. The position is a temporary assignment covering parental leave from September 2026 through January 31, 2027. Job Responsibilities As an outdoor environment technician with us, you handle fault reports and follow up on our maintenance contractors' work in outdoor environments at schools, preschools, elderly care facilities and sports facilities. You have your own area where you ensure that the environments are well-maintained, safe and functioning as they should. The work is varied and follows the changing seasons, and includes tasks such as: Perform repairs and maintenance work in outdoor environments Follow up on maintenance contractors' work such as grass cutting, trimming, weed removal, leaf management and snow clearing Perform simple landscaping work and maintain ground equipment Inspect outdoor environments and follow up on functional safety checks of playgrounds Handle and follow up on fault reports in our property management system Order and follow up on contractors' work in outdoor environments Contribute to improvements and development of outdoor environments Qualifications We are looking for you who: have several years of experience in property maintenance and repairs have a driving license (category B) have strong ability to work independently and plan your work It is advantageous if you have: experience working with contractors and/or maintenance agreements education in gardening, outdoor environments or landscaping familiarity with digital systems experience in maintenance and care of outdoor environments or park and gardening work Personal Qualities You enjoy working outdoors year-round and are motivated by taking responsibility for your tasks and your area. You work in a structured and thorough manner, and have the ability to prioritize when the pace is high. You have good collaboration skills and are service-oriented when interacting with colleagues, tenants and contractors. About the Position This is a full-time temporary position from September 2026 through January 31, 2027, with start date by agreement.
