About 2nd Company
2nd Company is part of the Hospital Battalion and is tasked with contributing to the Swedish Armed Forces' medical capabilities by establishing, operating, and supporting medical operations in the field.
The unit consists of personnel with various competencies in healthcare, logistics, and management. Together, they create the conditions to quickly receive, treat, and evacuate injured and sick soldiers under demanding conditions.
Through regular training and exercises, the company develops its capability to operate in both national and international operations. The focus is on delivering safe and effective healthcare while strengthening the unit's sustainability and operational effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities
The Training Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading training within one or more service branches such as vehicle, supply, or medical training. The student base may vary between conscripts, permanently employed, and temporarily employed personnel. As a Training Officer, you are also expected to serve as a planning officer at company level, where the main responsibilities consist of planning, coordinating, and leading sub-functions or tasks assigned by the unit.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Passed officer degree or specialist officer degree.
Swedish citizen.
Driving license class B.
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Good physical fitness according to Swedish Armed Forces requirements.

MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in troop training.
Training in land warfare.
Experience in planning and leading activities at company command level.
Instructor or leadership training within the Swedish Armed Forces.
Experience from national or international operations.
