We are now recruiting an Education Leader / Faculty Programme Director for the Board of the Industrial Economics and Logistics Programme (IL Board) at the Faculty of Science and Engineering's office.
About the role
As an education leader, you have a central role in developing our civil engineering, bachelor's, and master's programs. You work closely with the program board chair and are responsible for coordinating, further developing, and quality-assuring the programs – both operationally and strategically.
You collaborate with students, teachers, researchers, and industry and contribute to ensuring that the programs are relevant, high-quality, and adapted to changing needs in the outside world.
You are part of the management team for undergraduate education at the Faculty of Science and Engineering and have an important role in the faculty's strategic educational work.
Your main responsibilities:
Lead and develop educational programs in industrial economics and logistics
Drive strategic development and quality work within undergraduate education
Ensure that programs comply with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines
Prepare and follow up on educational plans and support faculty leadership on educational matters
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on program content and development
Participate in and contribute to national and international networks
Develop and strengthen international collaborations with a focus on student exchange and study abroad
Work with recognition of international studies

We would like you to have:
A civil engineering degree or equivalent, as well as a doctorate or many years of relevant experience from industry
Documented experience of leadership and development within technical and/or natural science areas
Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in both Swedish and English
Your workplace
The Faculty of Science and Engineering is the largest at Linköping University with approximately 10,500 students, 1,250 staff members, and a budget exceeding one billion kronor. At the office, we are about 40 staff members, and you will be part of a team of six education leaders who together are responsible for five program boards. The team supports each other, shares knowledge on educational matters, and collaborates on common areas. The team is driven by the desire to continuously build better education for the future.
