Our Operations Region Uppsala has the state's assignment to drive regional development work in Uppsala County. The Regional Development Department works based on the regional development strategy. We coordinate and drive the county's development together with public, private, and non-profit actors, and the assignment also includes performing tasks within the EU's structural funds. We work for social sustainability and public health, strengthened collaboration on skills supply and an inclusive labor market, as well as business development, innovation, and the development of digital infrastructure. Your Assignment We are now seeking a training leader for a competence development project, financed by ESF. The project aims to strengthen the competence of staff who work with and meet young people and young adults who neither work nor study (UVAS). Region Uppsala is the project owner and participants will come from at least twelve municipalities in Uppsala County, Södermanland County, and Östergötland County. The project will gather, analyze, and systematize success factors from previous UVAS projects in Eastern Central Sweden. These will be converted into structured training packages and competence development initiatives for staff within, for example, schools, adult education, municipal activity responsibility, labor market units, and social services. Seven knowledge themes have been identified as a starting point, including Accessibility and reception, Working methods to prepare individuals for the future, and Health-promoting and motivation-creating initiatives. For certain activities, external expertise will also be procured. Work Tasks As a training leader, you have a central role in the project with responsibility for analyzing lessons from previous projects, developing training packages, and planning and implementing competence development initiatives. The initiatives will largely be conducted digitally, but also include physical training and workshops. The assignment includes developing training modules based on environmental monitoring, research, and previous project experience, which will then be offered to relevant target groups in the form of teaching and workshops. The work also includes follow-up and subsequent evaluations with participants. You will be part of a team with a project manager, a project coordinator, and a project economist who are also based at Region Uppsala. Your Qualifications You have post-secondary education with a focus on pedagogy, education, and educational planning, or other competence that the employer deems equivalent for the position. You have experience independently planning and implementing training initiatives for adult participants based on identified knowledge areas. You have knowledge of and experience with educational planning, workshops, seminars, learning networks, and digital training. You have experience adapting content and format based on the needs and conditions of different professional roles. It is meritorious to have experience with the UVAS target group, experience with digital learning environments, and experience with work and assignments in project form. Your Competence As a person, you are outgoing and have good pedagogical ability. You can motivate and inspire others and are driven by the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable working life with lifelong learning in focus. You are independent, flexible, and have a good ability to adapt to prevailing circumstances. You are systematic and thorough and plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently within set timeframes.
