We at Vardaga Home Care Team Skeppargatan in Östermalm are looking for a certified nursing assistant or trained healthcare assistant to replace someone in our evening shift. Work in home care during evening hours with working times between 16:00 and 22:30 on weekdays and weekends (schedule with service on three weekends out of four). About the role Work during evening hours consists of helping elderly people in their own homes with personal care, supervision, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and responding to safety alarms. The work tasks also include performing social documentation. Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. About Vardaga Home Care Team Skeppargatan We are a team with an office in Östermalm close to the subway and our customers. We are approximately 60 people working here and we have about 170 customers, all living near our location in Östermalm. In the evenings, 7-8 people work each night, and it is an ambitious group that supports each other and is committed to providing customers with good care and service. We have a clear organization regarding different roles, routines, and what is expected of our employees when visiting customers. The managers are on-site so that our employees get the support they need. The position is at 68.92% and is a permanent employment (fixed-term contract). The work schedule is a fixed rotating schedule for evening shifts with work on 3 weekends out of 4. The position includes a 6-month probationary period. Priority given to applicants who can start employment in September. Your experience and knowledge We hope that you who apply to us: - Enjoy working with people and providing service - Have training as a certified nursing assistant or healthcare assistant - REQUIRED - It would be beneficial if you have a driver's license (automatic) and can drive a car in the city center when needed. NOT required - Have experience working in home care or senior living facilities - Can work evening shifts between 16:00 and 22:30 on a fixed rotating schedule according to operational needs. - Get along well with customers, colleagues, family members, and managers - Speak and write Swedish well. - Enjoy walking as the work is active with visits between customer homes - Have a positive attitude and want to contribute to the evening shift group.
