Currently, the department has three procurement specialists, one procurement coordinator, one contract manager, and one department head. Together we drive the development of purchasing and procurement work through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a constant focus on improvements. We work in modern facilities at Munktellstorget in central Eskilstuna – an inspiring work environment with proximity, collaboration, and comfort in focus. With us, there is the possibility to work partially remotely.
Job Responsibilities
As a procurement coordinator, you have a central role in our purchasing and procurement work. You work closely with the operations and are an important link between requesters, procurement specialists, and suppliers. The role combines operational work with development and support, where you contribute to ensuring that our purchases are conducted in a business-like, sustainable, and legally sound manner.
Your job duties include, among other things:
Coordinate the organization's purchasing needs and ensure that the correct purchasing procedure is used.
Conduct direct procurements, renewed competitive bidding, and other simpler procurements.
Take responsibility for administration, monitoring, and renewal of contracts as well as keep the contract catalog updated.
Support and guide requesters with questions regarding purchasing, contracts, procedures, and regulations.
Contribute to the development of efficient working methods, procedures, and templates, and train and support colleagues in the purchasing area.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education in purchasing, economics, or law. You can also have work experience that is assessed as equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience working with purchasing or procurement, preferably within the public sector. You have a good understanding of structured and legally sound purchasing processes and are confident in interpreting and applying regulations in practice. Experience with direct procurement and contract monitoring is a merit.
As a person, you work methodically and independently, while at the same time having good collaboration skills. You are communicative, pedagogical, and enjoy a role where you support others and contribute to the development of working methods.
