We are now seeking a procurement officer for the Municipality Administration's Finance Department. The department has overall responsibility for developing, leading, and coordinating the municipality's strategic work within procurement and purchasing, business management, and economics. Other tasks include providing advice and support as well as service to politicians, managers, and others. In the municipality, administrative processes are centralized, and procurement and purchasing support is therefore centralized in our Finance Department. You will be part of a unit of nine employees: procurement officers, contract controllers, and a procurement and purchasing manager. You will work closely with other procurement officers and maintain regular contact with the municipality's other operations and companies. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES In our procurement and purchasing department, you will conduct municipality-wide procurements as well as procurements for municipal companies. You will independently lead and conduct procurements in close collaboration with the business units. The work encompasses the entire process from project start to contract signing, and you will work on multiple procurements simultaneously. Other important responsibilities include contributing to business development together with other colleagues, sharing knowledge, providing advice and support, and serving as a business support function. You are also expected to actively participate in the department's development work regarding common processes, working methods, and an increased focus on better business outcomes. The role also includes ongoing communication and training initiatives within the procurement area, and you will have many external and internal contacts with suppliers, customers, and partners. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with: • Post-secondary education from a college, university, or vocational university, preferably with a focus on economics or law, or in a relevant educational field that the employer deems equivalent. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge and competence through work experience in the industry and education that the employer deems equivalent. • Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English • Good computer and system skills We consider it meritorious if you have experience with: • The Public Procurement Act (LOU) and Office software. • Work in the public sector • The procurement system Kommers or similar systems Who are you? You are organized, self-directed, and take responsibility. You are solution-oriented, engaged, and have good collaboration skills with a professional approach in your interactions with different parties. Furthermore, you are flexible and can adapt and reprioritize your work according to the needs of the business.
