We're looking for an experienced assignment manager who wants to lead complex projects within construction, real estate, and infrastructure. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring assignments from the early stages through implementation – with a focus on quality, budget, and strong collaboration with clients. You'll work closely with our clients, often in public organizations, and be a key person in ensuring that projects are executed in a structured and efficient manner according to established goals. As an assignment manager, you will, among other things: Coordinate and lead assignments throughout the entire process – from start to completion Take responsibility for timeline, cost, and quality in projects Be the client's primary contact person and advisor Coordinate the project's various disciplines and stakeholders Ensure that assignments are carried out in accordance with agreements, requirements, and regulations Contribute to business development and identify new opportunities Qualifications Requirements At least 10 years of experience as an assignment manager or equivalent role Documented experience from infrastructure or construction projects Relevant technical university or college degree Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written B-class driver's license Merits Experience with public clients (e.g., government agency, municipality, region, or state) Experience with procurement according to LOU Certifications in project management Experience in roles such as control manager, construction manager, or design manager Personal Qualities For you to succeed in this role, we see that you: Are organized and enjoy creating momentum together with others Are confident in leadership and have strong collaboration skills Communicate clearly and build long-term relationships Are business-minded and results-oriented Take responsibility and act proactively in challenging situations Additional Information As an employee at AFRY, we offer a modern workplace in a global context with forward momentum and security through collective agreements and employee benefits such as wellness allowances and numerous social activities through our employee club.
