Responsibilities As a project manager, you will be a key person in the team and responsible for driving technical projects from idea to finished delivery. The role combines leadership and customer responsibility with practical design work, which means you both work strategically and are involved in technical development, including in the defense industry. You will be based at the office in Örnsköldsvik or Umeå and work closely with both customers and colleagues. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and coordinate mechanical projects with responsibility for quality, schedule, and delivery Work with mechanical design and technical problem-solving in the manufacturing industry Be the customer's technical contact person and build long-term partnerships Lead and support engineers in smaller project teams Participate in the development of production tools and production-related solutions Contribute throughout the project chain – from concept development and design to finished delivery and implementation We are looking for you who Have several years of experience in mechanical design and want to take greater responsibility in projects where technology, customer dialogue, and leadership meet. We would like to see that you have: 4+ years of experience in mechanical design within the manufacturing industry. Relevant university degree or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience Experience with CAD tools such as Catia and/or SolidWorks Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written It is advantageous if you have experience from consulting or have worked closely with production and production development.
