Work duties:
Teaching and administration. Teaching includes course responsibility and course administration. Teaching in programming, software development and related areas is expected.

The employment may involve education-related administrative and management-related tasks, such as leading teaching teams, course renewal within the employment area and supervising students at undergraduate level.
Eligibility requirements:
Degree with subject specialization from higher education in computer science, information technology or related subject.
Pedagogical skills. The pedagogical skills and subject specialization must be relevant to the employment area and the work duties to be included in the employment.
The applicant must have completed university-relevant higher education pedagogical education comprising ten weeks or have acquired equivalent knowledge. If there are special reasons, the higher education pedagogical education may be completed during the first year of employment.
Documented ability to teach in Swedish or English unless there are special reasons.
Personal qualities required to perform the employment well.
Documented experience of programming at a university or college, or relevant programming experience from industry, is required.
Evaluation criteria for applicants who meet the above eligibility requirements
When selecting among eligible applicants, particular weight will be placed on both documented subject specialization and pedagogical skills, with particular emphasis on pedagogical skills.
Subject specialization may refer to a degree at research level. In addition to academic qualifications, experience from other activities, such as technology development, may be considered.
Pedagogical skills refer to education and teaching qualifications. In addition to academic qualifications, education and teaching qualifications from other activities, such as supervision, internal training or mentoring programs, may be considered. When assessing pedagogical skills, pedagogical quality shall be primarily considered. Scope, both breadth and depth, shall also be given importance. When assessing pedagogical skills, particular weight will be placed on qualifications within programming techniques (including, among other things, programming languages, software development, software design).
Further, the ability to plan, initiate, lead and develop education and teaching, as well as the ability to link teaching to research based on research in the relevant subject, subject didactics and higher education pedagogy will be given importance. The ability to interact on higher education pedagogical issues with stakeholders within and outside the university is also part of pedagogical skills.
Administrative skills are important for the employment and will be given considerable weight. Administrative skills are demonstrated, among other things, through the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in an efficient and purpose-appropriate manner and through the ability to set and maintain deadlines. The skills include overall activity planning and the ability to manage resources in a way that reflects the priorities of the activity as well as the ability to work in a structured manner based on awareness of goals and quality. Administrative skills also include entrepreneurship.

Collaboration skills: Collaboration skills are important for the employment and will be given weight.
Industrial expertise is considered a merit for the employment and will be taken into account.
All qualifications must be documented so that both quality and scope can be assessed.
The university will in this recruitment primarily consider the person who, after a qualitative overall assessment of competence and skills, is assessed to have the best conditions to carry out and develop the current work duties and contribute to a positive development of the activities.
Further information
