Subject Description The subject of animal reproduction encompasses fertility and reproduction in domesticated animals. It includes the subdisciplines of andrology, gynecology, obstetrics, udder diseases, and biotechnology, endocrinology and toxicology with relevance to the subject. Job Responsibilities The holder shall within the subject of the position develop and lead internationally successful research develop, lead and participate in teaching at undergraduate, advanced and doctoral level primarily teach within animal reproduction, but also participate in other educational activities at undergraduate, advanced and doctoral level where the subject is included develop and maintain national and international networks with academia, relevant authorities, industries, organizations and society at large collaborate with other research groups within SLU to strengthen the university's interdisciplinary activities seek external research funding at both national and international level supervise doctoral students and candidates under specialist training participate actively in clinical work and teaching contribute to the department's, faculty's and SLU's strategic development communicate research results and other relevant subject information to the surrounding society perform administrative tasks within the department, faculty and university The department has a parallel-language work environment.
