HDK-Valand is now seeking a University Lecturer in Photography to teach and serve as program director for the Master's program in Photography. You will be part of the unit Film, Photography and Literary Expression. Based on your own artistic practice and research, you are expected to contribute to the institution's comprehensive environment. In your role as University Lecturer, you will also support and develop pedagogy and teaching methods for artistic practice within the field of photography. In your role as program director, you hold overall responsibility for the Master's program in Photography. You collaborate with other program directors and the unit manager in the strategic development of the program. Teaching takes place primarily in English. The position includes time for your own research amounting to 15% of the position's scope. Period for the temporary position: January 1 – June 30, 2027, or another date to be mutually agreed upon.
