Duties: The position includes teaching clinical psychology within CBT, clinical supervision and supervision related to assessment methodology, and examination. Teaching also includes course and module responsibility and course administration. The teaching included in the position is at basic and advanced level within the areas of clinical psychology within CBT, behavioral medicine and health psychology, and psychology and health. The teaching may also include other components, based on the applicant's competence and the department's needs.
Qualification Requirements: According to Uppsala University's employment regulations (AO), eligibility for employment as a University Lecturer requires completion of an exam from higher education with subject specialization and documented teaching skills. The applicant must also have completed a relevant higher education pedagogical training of at least ten weeks, or equivalent knowledge. If special circumstances exist, the higher education pedagogical training can be completed during the first two years of employment. According to the university's employment regulations, general eligibility requirements for teachers also include having the personal qualities required to perform the position well, such as thoroughness, attentiveness, independence, and good collaborative ability.
The current position requires Swedish certification as a psychologist with a CBT specialization, as well as knowledge of behavioral medicine and health psychology.
It is required that the teaching skills and professional skills are relevant to the subject matter of the position and the duties to be included in the employment.
For eligibility, documented ability to teach in Swedish is required.
Selection Criteria: When selecting among eligible applicants, equal weight will be given to scientific and teaching skills.
In assessing administrative skills, the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient and purpose-appropriate manner will be evaluated.
The university will primarily consider the applicant who, after a qualitative overall assessment of competence and skills, is deemed to have the best qualifications to perform and develop the current duties and contribute to positive development of the activities.
