About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their individual implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we focus on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-affect interaction to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications Upper secondary education, child and recreation program, care and health program, or post-secondary education, nursing assistant, support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in care and health services. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Meritorious if you also have Experience in psychiatry, psychosis interaction. Training in AAC and low-affect interaction. Worked with complex support needs. Experience with comorbidity. Experience with KAD. Employment Terms Employment type: fixed-term. Degree of employment: 50-100%. Working hours: 6-24:00, on-call sleeping shifts, and night shifts. Start date: By agreement; we view positively if you can start soon to begin an orientation.
