About Unika's Short-Term Residential Facilities on Bränningevägen and Stålbogavägen
Unika's short-term residential facility on Bränningevägen is located in Årsta and the short-term residential facility on Stålbogavägen is located in Bandhagen. At our short-term residences, both the environment and support are adapted to each child's individual needs. We customize activities and stays based on what the children themselves enjoy doing and encourage both physical and calm activities. Each child and young person is treated with great attentiveness, respect, and care.
About the Role of Support Assistant
As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually adapted support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction to create security and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the facility's resources and budget.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience working in healthcare and care services.
Secondary education such as child and youth program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Meritorious if you also have:
Experience in psychiatry, AAC and low-affective interaction.
Worked with complex support needs.
Protected professional title for nursing assistant or childcare worker, or other equivalent as assessed by the employer.
Good documentation experience.
Terms of Employment
Employment form: Approximately 70%, both temporary positions and permanent positions according to schedule are available. Working hours: evenings and weekends. Start date: According to agreement; we view it positively if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
