About Unika Framnäsgatan Unika Framnäsgatan is a centrally located supported living facility for individuals under LSS section 1. We have space for 10 residents living in their own apartments in direct connection with common areas and our staff spaces. About the Role as Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities. You need to share our goal of promoting residents' independence and well-being in their daily lives. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and educational approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create security and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in care and educational activities. Secondary education such as child and recreation program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Ability to understand and apply low-arousal interaction methods. Meritorious if you also have: Experience working with people with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, and comorbidity. Employment Terms Employment form: Parental leave replacement until 2027-04-30 with possibility of extension. Degree of employment: 75-100%. Working hours: day, evening, every other weekend, some shifts include sleeping on-call. Start date: By agreement; we view it positively if you can start shortly.
