About Us Humana Supported Housing Gothenburg supports young people aged 16–20 with varying needs – from those who need support after a difficult upbringing or substance abuse, to unaccompanied young people navigating a new society. The supported housing's main goal and purpose is to train and prepare young people for the future. Through practical and emotional support, youth educators create security in everyday life. We also work with enhanced supported housing based on a level system where young people advance when they have demonstrated and are assessed as having integrated a number of skills and knowledge. We base our approach on learning psychology principles where functional behaviors are reinforced, new knowledge about society's structure is taught, and rights and responsibilities are clarified. Before a young person moves in, we work together with them and social services to develop a goal-oriented implementation plan that sets the framework for the joint work to be carried out during the housing period. We work primarily in teams with youth educators and coordinators, but some assignments are carried out independently, which is why it is important that you enjoy working autonomously. You largely set your own schedule and manage your time based on your assignments. On-call service may be part of the position. About the Position As an employee, you play a key role in young people's journey toward independent adult life. You are responsible for support and guidance to the young people you are a contact person for. This includes, among other things, ensuring that an implementation plan and weekly planning are drawn up, evaluated, and followed up regularly. The work includes motivational conversations, pedagogical support in daily life management, information about society, participation in contacts with authorities and other public bodies, and help maintaining or establishing social relationships. The work also includes documentation/record-keeping in IDOK. Since many of our young people attend school during the day, some meetings take place in the afternoons and evenings, which means some evening and weekend work. Employment Terms The position is 100%. We apply individual salary setting and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date for the position is by agreement. Who Are You? We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Before employment, a certificate from the criminal records register is provided.
